 Taylor
Wills was 3 years old, a Caucasian female with a diagnosis
of autism, when she was first seen in my office on November 10, 2001.
Her mother reported that Taylor had speech and language difficulty, a short
attention span and crying fits. At the age of two, Taylor's parents
noticed she was not talking. They decided to send Taylor to a speech
therapist, who in turn recommended that Taylor be evaluated for autism.
Taylor was experiencing uncontrollable crying and tantrum fits when
any routine patterns were changed. Taylor slowly began speaking after
working with the speech therapist, but the words were unrecognizable
to anyone except for Taylor. Read more

 Vicky
Vaikakul was 19 years old, a female with the diagnosis of autism
when she was first seen in my office on February 9, 2002. Her mother
brought her to my office citing many concerns. Approximately 6 months
before her initial examination, Vicky had stopped talking. She would
constantly grind her teeth, making strange sounds and hit her head
with her hand. The more interesting aspect of this case is that after
only the second adjustment Vicky began to speak.
